The production
The workshop, "Love pop culture? Turn it into performance," is helmed by Paula Varjack, a distinguished writer and performance artist known for her unique fusion of lyrical storytelling and charismatic presence. Her diverse body of work spans performance, video, monologue, and installation, often amplified by music or video. Varjack is celebrated for creating work that makes sense of and communicates with the world, focusing on amplifying marginalised stories and voices while both provoking thought and entertaining audiences. Having toured extensively across Europe, she also regularly facilitates writing and performance workshops for various age groups.
