Police in Lewisham have detained two wanted males following proactive patrols on New Cross Road, in an effort to tackle drug dealing and anti-social behaviour. The detentions are part of ongoing efforts to enhance safety in the Brockley and Telegraph Hill wards.

Wanted Males Apprehended on New Cross Road

Police officers from Brockley and Telegraph Hill spotted a wanted male cycling along New Cross Road. A pursuit ensued, and the individual was detained. He is to be returned to prison to serve the remainder of his sentence.

The detained male is identified as a prolific thief who has targeted local businesses. Shortly after this incident, PCSOs sighted another wanted offender. A chase followed, and the individual was detained, allowing the local Response Team to make an arrest.
